  1. yes, you need your verde card or passport if you are citizen; or if you are illegal allien  just say good bye, good bye america.

  2. You will need a Passport. The law went into effect just this year.

  3. PASSPORT ARE RECOMENDED.  BUT WITH YOUR DRIVER LICENSE, YOU'LL BE GOOD TO GO. JUST EXPECT THE AGENT TO BE A BIT MORE HARDER ON YOU CAUSE YOU DON'T A PASSPORT.

HAVE A GREAT STAY IN AMERICA'S FINEST CITY AND  BE VERY CAREFULL IN TIJUANA. WHEN TIME TO SLEEP,  CROSS THE BORDER BETTER.

            TAKE CARE

  4. OMG!!  I'm sorry you keep getting the wrong answers. You are fine with your DL. Once you hand them your DL they assume you are a US Citizen. They will either just let you go by or ask you a few routine questions: (might ask you some or all)

-how did you become a us citizen? born in US...naturalized

    -where do you live? NY

-what were you doing in Mexico? sightseeing

and thats it...the process is pretty quick...just the wait in line is what takes a while if you catch it during rush hour.

You don't need a passport!!  I know that thats what it says on their website. that law was supposed to come into effect on 01/01/07 but they postponed it to take effect on 01/01/08. So if you are traveling  within this year, you are ok with just your DL.
