  1. I've always purchased an auto warranty for every vehicle I've owned in the last 5 years. In the beginning I used to get them from the dealer, but I've found it's cheaper to get them from a auto warranty company. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Warranty... They offer free quotes, so it can't hurt to see how much one would cost for your car.

  2. Not sure: You can contact Ford direct to check here;

  3. The turbo on a 2004 Ford F350 is covered under the 5yr/100,000mi engine warranty.  It is a good thing because they tend to have a lot of problems, especially if the truck is used for a car or left to idle for extended periods.  The trucks that get used hard have less troubles with the turbo, they get hot enough to keep the deposits burned out of the variable vane housing in the turbo assembly.  If you are looking into purchasing this vehicle Ford offers an extended warranty for the engine sold through the dealers, it will increase the warranty period to 200,000mi, I would highly recommend buying it.

    PS: Don't let some salesman talk you into an aftermarket service contract instead, make sure you get genuine Ford warranty, you will have a lot less headaches.
