Any raw vegans out there?

I'm a vegan and I haven't been vegan for that long, but I was wondering if you could briefly explain what a raw diet is and why you chose to do it. Is it healthier than a regular vegan diet? I've also heard that it is hard to do....is that true?

  1. its a great thing. garlic is good for erection problems. cooking the garlic will ruin those ingredients that are good for blood vessels. even putting a lemon in a hot tea will make vitamin C ineffective.

cooking makes things taste good, so thats why is it hard to do. eating a raw garlic isnt like eating an apple.

  2. A raw diet is where you don't eat food that has been heated to more than 110 degrees Fahrenheit or so. It keeps the vital enzymes and vitamins intact so you get the most "bang for your buck". People believe it is the healthiest and most natural diet on earth, seeing as it was what we evolved eating. And as a side note, anyone who says you couldn't get enough protein; most green vegetables are about half protein.

I personally am not raw, but I plan to someday become raw, once I am the one paying for my groceries. As for now, I'm about 50% raw vegan and I've found that even this improves my energy and mental clarity.
