Any reason why KFC suppliers abuse their chickens?

Question

I've done a lot of research about how KFC suppliers like Tyson and Pilgrim's pride abuse their chickens but I couldn't find the reason why they do it .. even after PETA has warned KFC to ask the suppliers to stop doing that, KFC refused to do so. Is that because of the cost? Or is it faster for them to kill the chickens by using those inhumane processes?

Any answer will be appreciated =) I'm doing a research about this topic and my research question is: "Is there a need for those KFC suppliers to impose cruelty in killing chicken?"

I dont know. I wonder too. I read an article on the internet about Pamela Anderson protesting KFC for abusing their chickens. They don't have a good reason for doing it. Its not like they're gonna get better tasting chickens from locking them up!

Finally! Another person that knows! I totally agree. There is a good website, "Kentucky Fried Cruelty.com" It can tell you all about the mess. I made a vow NEVER to go to KFC again. I'm not a vegetarian, but its a good start. Anyways, I just think they do it because it works. The chicken taste good and if they stop doing what they are doing, they think the chicken might taste bad.

Who cares? PeTA are a bunch of far left wing loons who need to find real jobs.

They're CHICKENS. I don't care if they slip them the s*****g while going down the conveyor.

If you don't like how they kill or process chickens, DON'T EAT THERE.
