I am 4 months pregnant and do not like eating meat all of the sudden so I fear I am losing sources of protein. I wanted to see if there were other foods high in protein or recipes to substitute not eating meat.

  1. For snacks, Nuts, string cheese, hard boiled eggs, edamame (soy beans), lentil salad, hummus, peanut butter (use it as a dip for baby carrots), cottage cheese.

For non-meat, high protein meals, just make anything with beans or lentils.  A nice homemade minestrone soup with lots of beans and fresh veggies would be perfect.  You can also do pasta with veggies and chick peas or white beans.
