I haven't heard much bad about the KA, but any other suggestions? Something small with good fuel economy.

  1. I would recommend a Pug 306 1.9 tdi. I used to have one, and the insurance is brilliant (gocompare.com) and you get about 45mpg. It's also a good looking car (met colours best) and have a nice interior, and due to it being a popular car, very cheap and easy to modify if you so desire!

I had lovely 17's on mine!

  2. Chevy Aveo..38-42MPG NS INEXPENSIVE 11-15K

  3. VW golf or polo

or seat ibiza, which is really a golf with a different badge on it

  4. Suzuki swift-

Pros- great fuel economy, great features, great colour range, plenty of space on the inside but a small car on the outside, Japanese built so parts are easy to get and not too expensive, car is a rally car so 'stacks up' well. Its gets a 4 out of 5 rating for crashworthiness.

    Cons- Small boot

  5. fiat punto 1.1 or 1.2  cheap to run :)

  6. Toyota Corrola S.

  7. fiat punto 1.1 1.2 r very good car to have and good on fuel to and got tax to cheap to run

  8. fiat punto 1.1 or 1.2 is good i'v got one and i put £35 pound in once a mouth

  9. I will assume you are buying in the UK, as your question appears on the UK site.

If you can afford one, maybe a Toyota Aygo/Citroen C1/Peugeot 107.  Essentially the same car, with different badges on.

They haven't been out that many years, so the cheapest C1 will be about £3000.

The trump card of these cars is running costs; group 1 insurance, good fuel economy and simple servicing.

  10. my first car was (and still is) a corsa.  its a great 1st car for younger people.  its small and easy to drive, and not too small as some can be really small in the back+boot etc.

  11. saxos are good, and ford fiestas!

  12. Anything 1.2 for under 21! Peugot 106, Swift, Polo, Fiesta etc. Second hand is best, cheap insurance, cheap to repair and service,, but gets you around.

  13. Honda.

  14. Dude, my dad got me a Ferrari F430 as my first car! XD. But I would suggest the Toyota RAV4, or a Toyota Yaris.

  15. Saxos and toyatos

  16. I've got a honda accord with almost 200k miles and it still runs great. Good gas mileage still too.
