Any recommendations for a GPS in an ambulance or a fire truck?

  1. For ambulance service, fire department, police department, and other professional drivers, who spend many hours each day going to several different destinations, I would recommend GPS navigation with the use of a laptop computer. Larger screen will give better overview of area, and keyboard input is faster than tapping on a small screen with one finger. There are several good laptop GPS software suitable for purpose.   2. yes! one with XM radio so that you can see where the bad traffic is and avoid those areas!
