Any recommendations for a book of stories (that's one book containing multiple stories) for my preschool son?

Dr. Seuss!  My preschoolers love any of his stories and they have multiple books in one.

Many of the main character books such as Curious George, Spot, Berenstein Bear's etc have multiple books in one.  Consider going to the library and seeing what they have...then make a decision from there.

As a child, I loved the poems by Shel Silverstein.

"Where the Sidewalk Ends" and "A Light in the Attick" were 2 of my favorite books.

"The 20th-Century Children's Book Treasury" selected by Janet Schulman [An excellent collection of some of the most-beloved read-aloud classics from the 20th Century -- I highly recommend this anthology]

"You Read to Me & I'll Read to You" selected by Janet Schulman [This is the follow-up anthology to the above volume. Take care to find this one, because there are other children's anthologies that share the title. This edition contains many wonderful books that didn't make the cut of the previous volume...but also books that are longer and more suited for bedtime stories]
