Any recommendations for a nice drive from Grand Rapids to Chicago?

I'll be driving from Grand Rapids to Chicago next month, and I was wondering if there's a scenic route that follows the Lake Michigan shoreline.

go thru Sheboygen, Wisconsin it is at Lake Michigan,if you can, they have the Kholer (as in faucets) Foundry & Civic center. it is a real cool museum and art space, you can also tour the factory.

then go through Milwaukee, everyone knows what they are famous for, "BEER!" take a tour of one of the beer factories there then soberly make your way into Chicago. it really is a nice drive.-blurey

Take Chicago drive to Holland. Then jump on the Blue star highway which becomes the Red arrow highway as you head south. The take US 12 into Chicago.
