I am a former chef and worked in that area for a umber of years, there is the Hard Rock Cafe acrossed the street from thr EC, and inside on the 3rd level, Mr Greenjeans, the Purple Pig at Yonge and Richmond, if you like Chinese food there Sai Woo on Dundas behind the EC just west of Bay St.

On Elm at Bay a block norht of the Bay Dundas intersection there is an interesting vegetarian buffet called Le Commesal.
