Any recommendations for all-inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta?

Looking for a totally relaxing spot for a young couple (ages 30 and 31) to spend a week. Ideally, we'd like food/beverage service while we sit in a cabana on the sand reading and napping. Beautiful location, but we don't care so much about activities like snorkeling. Ocean view rooms with a modern flair, good food and pina coladas a major, major plus.

  1. Samba Vallarta.  Our all inclusive vacation was only $900 per person including flights.  It's small and relaxing but enough going on where you don't feel too secluded.  I loved every second of my vacation!

  2. The Westin Resort and Spa

Check out the link for a picture of their shaded pool area where you can sit and enjoy your drinks!

  3. Marival has had nothing but excellent reviews from my friends

  4. Grand Velas....www.grandvelas.com....big bucks but if you don't enjoy yourself...its your fault...Nuevo Vallarta...just got back yesterday. A serious 5 start resort......the service is unbelievable.....but you pay for it.......it is so classy that you have 8 pillow types to chose from...the spa is rated in the top 5 in central America.
