Question:

Any recommendations for hair and makeup for the first day of school?

I go to a school with uniforms, so makeup and hair are the best way to look unique.

I have shoulder length, thinned dark auburn/brown hair that is naturally wavy but because I had it thinned and sideswept bangs done that it doesn't curl as well.

My eyes are greenish (a little hazel), closely set. I have fair skin with freckles, and I have problems with wearing eyeliner because it smudges and makes my eyes red. Any suggestions? I want a good way to look nice and different this year.

  1. MAKE-UP:

well you can wear a sparkly mascara

doing that is really hot at my school

also bright colored eyeshadows once in a while is cool

if you want to try something different

along with that bright colored lipstick is also a good option

but remember NEVER try to concentrate on your eyes and lips at the same time

if you are using a bright eye shadow then dont use a bright colored lipcolor or vice versa...

it look so horrible people try to do that

it makes them look like a clown

    HAIR:

you could always try different hair ribbons

something that is really popular at my school is

plus head bands are cute too

clipping back the hair behind you bangs with some bobby pins

its really cute and if you wanted to really do something different then you could change that into a poof cause thats extra cute

if you wanted to try something more permanate then you could get some highlights or dye the bottom half of your head a different color

    AND JEWELRY:

    cant forget those accessories

bright colored earings are a must have for the upcoming school year

also necklaces with charms on the end are really cute

(try the ones at the store tillys)

    get one quality good bracelet

    like an italian charm bracelet

thats a bracelet you can customize yourself with diffferent charms and change it around when you want to try something new

    well hope this helps

    and good luck :)

IM or e-mail me if you want :]

  2. An easy way to make your makeup stand out is a bright lipstick. Try MACs Lustering lipstick... it's a sheer watermelon pink that isn't too bright for school but it's really fun.

Also swipe a gold eyeshadow on your lid with Mattese NYC shadow Dust in Diva. Gold looks lovely on green/hazel eyes.

Add a cute hairclip from Target or HotTopic to your hair and you'll be stylin like a hot chica!!!

  3. Use a nice pink blush to go with your pretty freckles! You can always substitute eyeshadow for eyeliner if you have an angled makeup brush. It isn't so bold and it comes off really easily without smudging too much throughout the day. Hope I could help =D

  4. maybe you should try straighting your hair

and if eyeliner doesnt work you can always use eyeshadows

  5. i found this great site with tips on how to apply make up step by step it came with the color to use and stuff like that (it isn't a spam)

    runway-runway.blogspot.com

  6. make your new hair style that you have never had it before :D

  7. have u ever heard of like a colored mascara??? u should try that! just do something with your hair that you never done before

  8. You sound so pretty! Well for the hair, if you blow dry it then do that, but otherwise, don't do much else. I don't know how old you are but i'll i can say is natural beachy, untamed hair is so much prettier as you get older. Maybe don't get it thinned next time? Then you will have the waves so many people spend hours trying to get. As for makeup, because your eyes are closely set, eyeliner would be good to open them up. Go to a department store and try Clinique. All their products are non-irritating and made for people with sensitive skin. So i would go for a natural look with just soft eyeliner, mascara, concealer to cover dark circles, and maybe some powder on your face to cover any flaws, but even that is unneeded. My best advice would be to go to a Clinique counter and tell a sales assistant that you would like help finding a soft everyday eyeliner pencil (explaining your troubles with the smudging and irritation), mascara (based on whatever you want for your lashes; volume, length), match you with concealer, and a light weight powder if you want. I hope this helps! And just a little makeup can really help people be confident, and it will show.
