Any recommendations of a brand of pads for my 11 year old daughter?

My daughter has yet to begin her period, but I would like to have pads on hand for when the time comes. They have sooooo many brands and sized these days, its overwhelming trying to decide! I dont use them any more (use tampons, which she is wayyyy to young for.)

  1. Something with wings.  Always is good.

  2. Talk to her about what's going to happen to her when she gets her period and wait. My mom bought me pads at 11 years old and never said another word about it. By the time I got my period I was too embarassed to use them because she would know. Just tell her what you went through and look around while you wait. My daughter liked Always brand pads.

  3. Always

    they're the best

  4. o god i wish i could rember what kind i have

  5. I'm 12 and i completely say

always ultra thin. make sure to get regulars. he he

  6. These are the best for smaller girls and women.  http://www.drugstore.com/qxp26519_333181...

Always is the best brand by a long shot and these are made to fit a smaller person so they won't be bulky & uncomfortable.

  7. For liners, Kotex lightdays.

For pads - Always Ultra with wings.

    (Both tried and true)

She's actually not too young for tampons... but for the first few times, have her use pads til her flow evens out.

  8. I agree with you I had so much trouble finding the right kind of pads that were comfortable with everyday things and finding one that was way to long or to thick to the point its obvious which can and tends to be embarrassing or cautious that others might know so to speak as a young teenager again.  Stayfree maxi pads are so comfortable.   It wasn't til I was 17. That I found those. But so to speak I grew up in a family with Lil money or funds.  I am now 21. So by far stayfree is the best brand out there

  9. i started my period at 10 and my mom went out and bought the walmart brand but, bought the plain maxi's.  they weren't the supers they were the one under the supers.  i can't for the life of me think what they are.

  10. My mom bought me always when i was 11 and I personally couldn't wear the always brand they were plastic on top and it rubbed me raw....stayfree are cotton like on top and are very comfy and not to mention very affordable!
