  1. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

  2. Wuthering Heights! It's my favorite book, and very comparable to Jane Eyre (as it was written by Charlotte Bronte's sister, Emily.)

  3. Here are some titles that I think might interest you, based on your tastes.

The Fountain Overflows ~ Rebecca West

    Bel Canto ~ Ann Patchett

    Main Street ~ Sinclair Lewis

The Death of the Heart ~ Elizabeth Bowen

    Empire Falls ~ Richard Russo

A Map of the World ~ Jane Hamilton

Ship of Fools ~ Katherine Anne Porter

    Cold Mountain ~ Charles Frazier

Gone To Soldiers ~ Marge Piercy

The House of Sand and Fog ~ Andre Dubus III

A Thread Of Grace ~ Mary Doria Russell

The Deptford Trilogy ~ Robertson Davies

    The Fountainhead ~ Ayn Rand

    Doctor Zhivago ~ Boris Pasternak

There is a lot of different stuff here, both old and new. It should all be easy to find online, for reviews and such. I hope you find some things  you want to read among them. Good luck and enjoy.

  4. I recently read a book called "Everlost"

    which was pretty good.

I can't think of any offhand right now, but if I think of some more, i'll be sure to come back and post them here.

    Hope you like it! Have a nice day! (;

  5. I loved the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" so the book should be even better. Anyway all these are classics so you can't go wrong!
