  1. if you go to your dr, have them take a pair of scissors to your ears, then stitch the edges up, put some gauze over it and wrap it tightly aorund your ears nice and tight like and tape them at funny unnatural angles...stay like this for aproximatly 1 year (ear cropping can take up to 3 years of constant taping to heal correctly)

if after that year you feel that it was a simple painless procedure...or WORTH the pain...then ill give you the name of any one of a VERY LIMITED number of good ear croppers...

more and more vets are refusing to crop ears nowerdays due to the pain and long healing time associated with a completly unnessicary procedure.

most vets that will do it now are people i wouldnt trust neer any of my pets.

  2. dont listen to these people ear cropping is not cruel.. it is done by a professional, that knows exactly what they are doing, its done between the ages of 9-14 weeks old because the nerves in their ears are not fully developed. i have had all my Pit Bulls ears cropped and never had a problem from it.. it is done for working breeds and is a personal preference , so if you want it done call some local vets see who does it then get some references on who is better to do them, or if you know somebody that owns a dog with cropped ears ask them where they got theirs done. hope this helps.

  3. Why on earth would you want to do that?

I can't believe that's even legal. Do it here and you'd be up in court with a fine the equivalent of $33,000 and a year in prison.

  4. As everyone else said. Ear cropping is a cruel practice and in many countries ear cropping and tail docking have been banned.

Please reconsider cropping your dogs ears, not only is it painful, 90% of croppings end up giving the dog one ear up and the other ear down.

  5. do you think your dog wants it though?
