  1. everyone i know wears bloch shoes, they seem to be excellent quality, and are readily available over here.

remember though, when it comes to pointe shoes, everyone seems to have different requirements and preferences. best bet would be to ask your dance teacher

  2. If you have wide feet definitely get Grishko

  3. It really depends on the shape of your feet.

BUT. I've found that my Chacott Veronese have consistently worked really well and according to the teacher who recommended them to me, a lot of people use (and like) them.

  4. Well if you added more details about your feet how long you've been on pointe what kind of shank etc you like... i would be able to give you a better recommendation, but i just got a new kind called European Balance, by Bloch, and I absolutely love them! I would also reccommend Grishco, it seems like you may have wide feet cause you said yours were getting too tight? so maybe like Grishco gamba i think would work for you. Also other brands would be Prima Soft or Freed. Good Luck finding the right shoe :)

  5. Bloch's are ok, their very hard to break in and for my school their usually the beginners shoes. Grishkos are very nice and break in easy. Everybody I know has Russians (including me) and I think that their very nice and break in ok.

  6. Gaynor Mindens are also a good pair of shoes, Grishko are what i use and they come in different hardness, i would get mediums. Stay away from capezio pointe shoes.
