Question:

Any recycling ideas for elastic bands?

I just can't seem to bring myself to throw out elastic bands, and now I've got hundreds of them. Any good, useful suggestions for recycling them? I reuse them of course when the opportunity comes up, but supply is now well overtaking demand. I need to put them to good use.

  1. rubber band gun, you'll never have enough bands again!

Other than that, good luck, half of them have probably perished by now.

  2. Make a rubber band guitar or a rubber band ball. THe ball would keep them neat and its a fun little toy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_band...

  3. Package them and resale them to local new paper companies or other companies that may have use of them.  Might make a little bit of money on the side.

  4. Make a giant rubberband ball.

  5. They degrade in sunlight, so sling em out, and theyll return some rubbery nutrients to the soil. Something in them's gotta be good for plants.

  6. My friend had a lot of elastic bands and she sold them to a company and a store for a good price.

they are recycled and you make money....everyone wins
