Any reenactors out there who carry their children along?

My husband and I are joining a civil war reenactment group. How do we bring our children along and still be period correct? (sleeping arrangements, toys, etc.) Do they make the little wooden cradles for camps? Thanks.

I would get with the local group that you are joining and ask this question of them.

But off the top of my head I would have to say that their kit (the children's outfits and other items) are going to have to be correct also.
