My eyes are consistently dry, causing eye infections on numerous occassions. I used to wear contact lenses, 6months have gone by and i have not worn them. The problem persists. It started 2years ago when i was on Roaccutane for acne, my eyes do not produce enough tears, i am using MSM eye drops. But this is an inconvenience, and the problem has not gone.

  1. Try Supplement with essential fatty acids such as omega 3 oil, flax seed oil or evening primrose oil. Essential fatty acids can decrease dry eye by keeping the mucous membranes of the eyes lubricated.

Eating foods rich in vitamin A or supplementing with vitamin A can help to keep the eyes moist.

The herb eyebright is also beneficial for overall eye health. And can be used as an eye wash.

    also ...

Keep your indoor humidity between 30 and 50 percent. If you find that the air in your house is dry, try using a humidifier to add moisture to the air.

and ... last but not least ...

Consider buying an air filter to pull dust and other particles out of the air which may be irritating your eyes.
