  1. Well my son is on the orange can from good start, he took to it well. He used to spit up alot, but from what I hear that is common. He doesnt do that much anymore..unless he is moving alot after a feeding. And it doesnt stain..LOL just thought I'd throw that in there..

I cant compare, as I have never tried any other brand.

  2. It's just modified cow's milk, all of it. To believe that one formula is better than another is to fall for advertising, and rather stupid advertising at that.

    Buy the cheapest/least advertised.

"Formula is certainly theoretically more appropriate for babies than cow's milk. But, in fact, there are no clinical studies that show that there is any difference between babies fed cow's milk and those fed formula. Not one."

  3. I don't have a lot of experience with Enfamil. I like Good Start a lot. Babies tend to tolerate it pretty well. Similac has a lot of added iron and babies have a hard time digesting it. While it's the oldest and best known because it's been around the longest, I don't think it's the best. Enfamil is pretty good, but I do like Good Start.

  4. i wouldnt know about Nestle Good Start i have always similac and its the best thats my opinion

  5. I have used Good Start with both of my kids and I think it's the best. It doesn't smell or stain as bad as Enfamil in my opinion.

  6. We started our son on GoodStart in the hospital, they sent a lot home with us, then we bought one can...our baby was fine with it. However I was not okay with the price of it. So we switched to Enfimil-Lipil because for a huge can it's only $6 more than Goodstart.....we buy from BJ's.

Our son had no problem adjusting because we mixed formulas for about 5 feedings.

Also, the pediatrician said that there's no formula better than another....he just recommended that it has DHA/ARA in it.

  7. I would rate it the highest as far as my daughter goes. We use good start with natural cultrues.  I tried similac and enfamil and she had issues with them.  Also, no sugar in good start which is a plus.  I think it smells better too.  However, as far as formula goes it just depends on what your baby does the best on and there is no one size fits all.  good luck.

  8. Don't use it use an organic baby formula they don't have dha/ara, that stuff is the worse thing you can put in your baby's body. I use this formula It's great: www.natureson.com

  9. My son uses the Nestle Good Start Natural Cultures and is doing great!  We started with Enfamil and he had a lot of spit up.  Also, the Enfamil stained a bunch of bibs and smelled horrible!  I don't have personal experience with Similac, but my friend gives it to her son and he's doing very well with it.
