Any rn's out there willing to mentor me???

I'd like to become a RN but not sure where to begin...I'm already going to a community college this fall but any advise ???

You need to make an appointment ASAP with an advisor / counselor at your college.  Tell the advisor you are interested in getting admitted to the nursing program (that is if this college has a nursing program). Ask what courses you need to take and how you apply to the nursing program. You aren't directly admitted to any nursing program, you have to meet all the pre-reqs and then apply to the program.  Those steps should help you. Of course if the college doesn't have a nursing program, you'll have to look around and find one that does.  Don't just randomly take courses without first talking to the advisor - even if you think they might be the right courses -------you may waste alot of time and money that way.
