Any romantic restaurants in Manchester?

Question

Im looking for a romantic restaurant in Manchester. Im a student so nothing too pricey (dont really have a set budget though) and id prefer somewhere that does simple, classic dishes as appose to A la Carte or the like.

Any style is great. British, Indian, Spanish etc etc.

My girlfriend is gluten intolerant so I would be interested in anyone's experiences with this.

1. Burger King.

2. McDonald's.

3. Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I agree with Phil,Chinatown is a great place to eat out and has restaurants to suit any budget.

- Grill on the alley - Best lobster

- Jem & i - For a special night out

- Wallrus - Ribs to die for

- Gusto - Amazing pizza

- Gaucho Grill - Best steak

- Akbar - In castle field, brilliant Indian cuisine  

These are mainly around Town and Didsbury.

There are a lot of good options on there for hotels as well as restaurants in any town!

My friend who is also gluten intolerant goes to a restaurant in central Manchestr called 'Room', It has a website:

I'm not sure about the price but she says the food is lovely and she eats out a lot.
