Any room on my team for Michael Bourn?

I dropped michael bourn recently b/c my team is pretty good but i might need him b/c i don't have much speed.

My lineup:

C: posada

1B: morneau

2B: brian roberts

3B: miguel cabrera

SS: michael young

OF: josh hamilton

OF: alex rios

OF: vlad

Util: kevin youkilis

Uitl: jay bruce

Util: vernon wells

BN: todd helton

BN: jeff francoeur

BN: robinson cano

BN: joey votto

DL: frank thomas

SP: cc sabathia

SP: halladay

SP: hamels

SP: verlander

SP: ben sheets

RP: krod

RP: saito

BN: rich harden

should i pick up bourn and drop someone else?

  1. The problem with Bourn is his batting average. I think you probably could handle him with your team, and I would drop Votto (unless this is keeper, if it is a keeper then drop helton).

    Just don't play Bourn everyday.

How many people are in your league, 4?  That is a pretty stacked team.  I live in Houston, do not pick up Michael "Bourn with no Talent".  He is fast and steals bases but it looks like he is gonna be platooned the rest of the season and may even see time at AAA.  He hits about .220 and his OBP is atrocious.  Pick up someone else!

  3. How often do you use Helton, Francour and Votto?

    You have a lot of your bench spots taken up with batting that you probably only use when 'regulars' have a day off.

    It's only worth picking up Bourn for his speed if you are going to use him and you already have a ton of guys that you aren't using.

    Votto is 3rd in line in your 1B slot, you can drop him.  Rios is having a horrible year, you can drop or solicit trades for him.
