Any sevent grade first day tips?

I am going into seventh grade for my very first time (duh) and the first day is August 12. Im going to a somewhat big school called Oberon Elementary, and I am REALLY nervous! Please helP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Hey... No worries, be yourself and just be calm... Don't try to become popular or what not, just focus on school, join some sports and clubs/organizations and you will meet people who you can relate to. I know 7th grade can be tough especially when you don't know anyone there but you WILL survive i promise... Remember main thing is Be Yourself and don't change to be "cool", people will learn to like you for who you are... GOOD LUCK!

Okay, 7th grade is a big change because like u will have more than one teacher.  Okay, your planner is your friend make sure u write down every homework assignment because you won't be able to just look on the board at the end of the day.  Also, be nice to your teachers, they won't know you as well as your like elementary school teachers did (well elementary by me is k-6) because they will have like a lot of different students not just your class so they won't know when your just joking and stuff.  Make sure you make friends because 7th and 8th grade aren't nearly as important as high school because it doesn't count towards college so you can spend time making friends but still do your work.  Pretty much don't freak out, the first month you will have like a lot of help and the teachers know you aren't used to all of this so they will help you ease into things.

yeah, i made a big transition going into 7th grade too. i went from a small private school to a big public school. all i can say is, don't try to be someone you're not, cuz all that'll do is make people think of you one way, when you might want to be thought of another way. Just be yourself and don't let anyone get under your skin. And you totally shouldn't be nervous. Big schools are fun. :) lots of new people to meet. you'll have a great time. enjoy yourself! seventh grade for me was the best!

be organized- folders, organizers etc.

be nice- you can never have enough friends!

respect your teachers- you will have a good reputation and the teachers will trust you more

do your homework- it can bring your grade up almost a whole letter grade

concentrate in class- it can only help!

Relax you already went through sixth grade its exacally like that except the classes are harder.

There's nothing to worry about! Don't be nervous when you walk into the school. Seventh grade is really fun! Just keep all your school supplies organized. Try and make new friends, maybe!

If you don't know your way around(if it's a new school for you), don't worry, teachers will not mark you late or something for the first few days so you can get used to the school!
