look for the fungus in a cow pasture...silli only grows on or around cow dung...

you will find Morel mushrooms in Idaho, in late spring, early summer, in areas that have been logged and not replanted, or where there has been a recent forest fire in the last couple of years.

Be sure to know what they look like, there are fake morel that grow in the same area.

you might be able to find this book or one like it at the library.
