  1. Every tablet has some sort of side effect.

Some of the various side effects from the different antidepressants are:

    Dry mouth

    Urinary retention

    Blurred vision

    Constipation

Sedation (can interfere with driving or operating machinery)

    Sleep disruption

    Weight gain

    Headache

    Nausea

    Gastrointestinal disturbance/diarrhea

    Abdominal pain

    Inability to achieve an erection

Inability to achieve an o****m (men and women)

    Loss of libido

    Agitation

    Anxiety

  2. Ginseng is a very good stimulant so if your antidepressant warns against stimulants then ginseng will probably not be good with it.  It can make you anxious and irritable and make your blood pressure rise so just remember that specially if your sensitive to stimulants.  Stuff like zoloft or something like that ginseng wouldn't be a problem.  Alot of antidepressants no there usualy isn't too big of a problem.  Though I have no clue what your taking so I can't say yes or no.
