I am on the Cal. coast, a few of the decuduous trees here have started changing color already. Not many, but a few. Are there any color changes happening where you are? Or is it still the green of summer? Or if you are in the Southern Hempsihere or the tropics, are you getting any signs of seasonal change where you are?

  1. I live in PA.  As far as the trees not much showing except Fall fruit trees are ready to be picked, the weather is cooling off and the days are getting shorter :(.  I love Fall the best but it goes so quick.

  2. in Connecticut the only signs of autumn are the commercials and magazines that come in mail for back-to-school clothes... the trees are still summer green

  3. I wish.  I live in DC and it's hot and muggy.

  4. We live in Illinois and the large cottonwoods in our yard signal the advent of Fall by dropping their leaves the first week in August.  These large old trees are the first to leaf out in the Spring and my husband has witnessed them dropping leaves around the same time for 38 years now.  Autumn is not far behind, thank you, hate this hot, humid weather.

  5. still green here in maryland

  6. I live in northern Ohio and we are still in the hot humid days of August, which is typical for this area.

We just returned from vacation from upstate NY though and they are having cool nights in the 50's there and *some* trees are just starting to show the signs of changing color.

  7. I live in Florida, right on the east coast.

The trees do not change color here, it's very weird.

    There is basically no fall.

  8. Not yet , probably in about 6 or 7 weeks , Albany , New York..

  9. In Louisiana the trees only start turning after the first cold front. And then it takes a few of them to make the trees lose all of their leaves.
