  1. 1B- there is no Light reflecting off the moon's surface(on the side you and I can see), so it isn't "Shining" and is a New Moon

2A-A telescope is a simple tool that uses the objectifying lens to focus the light that is magnified by the reflections of an image in several mirrors, once magnified the lens focuses the magnified image for the human eye to interpret better.

3D-The warm water is being forced up due to higher vapor pressure formed than Cold water underground.

4C-Temperature does not directly effect density because liquid does not have a high expansion/compression rate, the salinity (Salts in the solution) effects the level of saturation of the solvent, making the water more dense with more salinity. But temperature WITH salinity increases the rate of solvation, so temperature alone no, but with salinity yes.

5C-The Star is Hottest when it reaches its point of furthest expansion before using all the kinetic energy being produced within its self through fusion., Before it collapses upon itself.

at this expanded state it is brighter, due to the more surface area giving off energy in the form f light and heat.

  2. 1) B - new moon

    2) A - objective lens

    3) A - cold water

    4) C - salinity and temp

    5) C-  brightest
