Hi,

After 3 holidays on my Ride Control board it time i upgraded to a better 'All Mountain' snowboard. I want the best board i can get but i am on a budget;

The board will need to take my Ride Mig bindings. A good board in the sales would be cool if anyone has seen any on the web that are still in stock?

Also, i'm 5ft 9 and weigh about 10 1/2 stone. What size do you recommend? My old board is 153 and too short in my opinion. I also want something a bit more rigid (or whatever the correct terminology is)

Any help is appreciated, i'm sure someone has seen a good board in a late sale

  1. A Burton custom X if you have 750 bucks but if you want a better board i had a ride controll and upgraded to a burton clash, they are about 400, but if you want somtin better Get a burton Jussi, 600$$ but worth it

  2. for an all mountain board i'd recomend a never summer. there a really good compant that make a solid board. most of us snowboard instructors at ELK mt. ride them.

  3. Im about the same body size as you and I bought a ride fleetwood this year and love it.  great in the park and for jibbing and doesn't give out at high speeds even bombing down the mountain, which i do quite often. the only bad thing about the board is it doesn't handle moguls very well (maybe it's me, i ride long, a 158). but i think they come in a 156 and a 153 as well.  i got mine for about $320 but im sure you can get some on sale. sick graphics too.  ride is a solid company and im sticking with them.
