I went out on a date with this gentleman, and he surprised me

with a rose and a mango. Is there any meaning for the mango?

    I could make up a long story about Danes and Mangos, because of the enormous expense of shipping them to Denmark from their tropical homes, or a great grandmother who brought a seeding to her greenhouse in 1895, when she married a seafaring man and went to his home in Massachusetts from Singapore.

    Maybe they were on sale at the supermarket where he bought the rose.

    But, we're all guessing, unless he or his ancestors were from South Asia.
