Any stomach masters out there?

I've been working out fairly regularly, running ( a mile or so each day 3-5 days a week) and then walking for 30 minutes each day. I have been doing crunches, bicycle crunch things, and several other stomach exercises every night for many months... I've been working out my arms and seen a difference... but my stomach seems to have gotten worse... Not that it's fat.... but it's not getting any flatter ... why? whats wrong with my routine?

  1. My track team does an awesome ab routine meant to strength the core very quickly

after doing 3 or so 400m laps try this

    10 Crunches

10 side crunches with knees to the left

10 side crunches with knees to the right

10 Superman Crunches where you have your arms and legs straight and have them meet in the air so both your arms and legs point to the ceiling

10 knees to the chest then back out without feet touching the ground

10 leg lifts where you have your legs together and straight out and you bring them up straight to a 90- degree angle without touching the ground

10 bicycles where you bring your opposite knee and elbow together alternating elbows each time

    10 full body crunches

    10 regular sit ups

this routine is really harsh if you actually do the full thing right

  2. when it comes to stomach, proper diet is very important also

  3. I'm finding the same thing. Women store fat in there hips and stomach area, so the body wants to keep it there. I've been using an ab lounger and have seen a difference, but not enough. I'll keep trying and hope you do, too. Good luck

  4. When you do you workout, you are gaining muscle more so than losing fat. Therefore, your stomach muscles are getting stronger which actually pushes out your stomach. Think of it like this: () equals muscle and 0 equals fat. This is your stomach before you started training...0. And this is your stomach now ()0...notice its actually bigger. You need to lower the fat content in order to see the improvements you are expecting. A good diet would help
