  1. do a lot of pelvic thrusts before any game and during intermission


  2. Groin, groin, groin, and groin. I cannot emphasize that enough. Hammys are important, too.

    This site has some pictures of stretches and really goes in depth.

    I mostly suggest the butterfly stretching.  You need your legs to get out there in some pretty whacked angles.  Legs are a goalies best asset!  If you can get into the splits, even better, but you'll probably need to work up to that.  

    Really focus on your inner thigh and the back of your legs.  Tends to be a spot that's not that flexible but you won't notice it until you pull it all out of joint trying to block a shot!  Make sure that's stretched out good at game time and do your stretches at least twice daily, even if you're not practicing.
