Any stretching tips for ice skating?

i hurt my leg yesterday while doing the splits without stretching and now my upper thigh hurt. does anyone know any stretches to get rid of the pain?

  2. ouch ive done that before, learnt the hard way not to stretch cold :( i think its a pulled hamstring.

    it lasted about two weeks for me and after that i was a little less flexible, but a trip to the chiro and some time off helped. once you feel a bit better start stretching for the splits but do it slowly, build up to it. for now ice it, also light jogging is good. just remember to stretch veeeeery gently after wards.
