Any success story for Medicinal plants projects?

Do you know a place/society/project which is known to be a success story for Medicinal plants involving local communities.

We are an NGO , having a Medicinal Plants Project in one of the Nature reserves, we are trying to arrange a study tour to a similar- or different- experience. We are concerned with consrerving nature and decreasing the pressure on the reserve by trying to provide income generating small projects for the locals.
