Hi I made a video where I show my clairvoyance.

Planning to show it for JREF challenge, there is allot to do and create the test protocol. But the idea is to make it as simple as possible and as evident as possible. so if you have any questions and suggestions about how would you perform it or what would be evident and convincing for you. please write me.

Here is the video it is in 2 parts.

  1. 1. Let someone else select the pictures otherwise you are staring with a 1 in 20 chance of simply guessing correctly.

    2. Have both envelopes sealed by the person that selects the pictures.

    3. Use an electronic random number generator or 20 sided die to determine the order of the envelopes selected.

    4. Choose and describe one picture at a time (choosing 3 to describe at one time if you have seen them jumps your chances to 3 in 20).

    5. You should describe 4 out 20 correctly by chance alone so you will have to describe 5 or more to be higher than chance (possibly 6 or 7 to break statistical significance).

I expect Randi will demand 19 or 20 as proof.

    6. Consider just using ESP (Zener) cards although probably guessing exceptionally well like 20 out 25 correct calls on cards with 5 symbols wouldn't be considered proof for Randi as that he accepts no statistical evaluation or any other type of valid scientific analysis as evidence.

Good luck with the challenge though and please let us know how it goes.

Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance.

Also, if you want validation and actual scientific study of your possible abilities (a fake one million dollars prize not included) I will be happy to provide you links to actual scientist working in the field of parapsychology.

  2. I used to be an active member of the JREF forms, so I can tell you some of the things people will mention.

First of all, the rules for the test have changed slightly - due to the large number of people with obvious mental illness trying to apply, they now require that you have been reported on in some sort of media outlet first.  Home-made youtube videos don't count.

Second, they don't care what you see or how you think you're doing it - just if you can do it or not.  Of course, you won't have access to the pictures or envelopes ahead of time.  Resolution on youtube videos isn't good enough to be able to tell if there were marks on the pictures or envelopes.  The whole thing with picking the envelope number out of the pile at random isn't necessary.  One or two guesses isn't enough - you're going to have to try to identify the contents of at least 10 envelopes, and without knowing if you got them right during the test.

The blindfold thing isn't going to fly if there's any chance you could see through the envelope - there are many tricks to seeing through or under blindfolds, and Randi has seen them all.

There's no point in being vague at all about the pictures - you obviously know what the pictures were.  You can always just use playing cards or something.  A women with a candle might have described a few different pictures - why not just use cards with numbers on them?  Otherwise, it seems like you're trying to give yourself a lot of leeway.  Interpretations aren't good enough for the challenge - you need something exact, like numbers.

You're going to have to get the contents of each envelope correct, not just guess a group of them at once - again, your chances of guess right go way up.

That's just what I get from the videos - have you considered joining the JREF forums?  They'll be able to give you better feedback, I'm sure.  Good luck!

EDIT:  Thanks Deenie!  But Psi did a great job too.  And yes, Randi will expect you to get at least 17/20 or so correct.  If this is an actual ability, and not random guessing, that shouldn't be a problem.  If it's random guessing, then any less than that could be a coincidence - a very unlikely one, but still.  And you'll have to repeat it twice - the first test is the preliminary, the second is for the money to make very sure you're not just guessing correctly.  If it is a real ability, again, that shouldn't be a problem.  But no one has even passed the preliminary yet.  Again, good luck.

  3. That was really interesting. One thing I'm thinking of though is that you were the one who had the pictures...so you already had those pictures in your mind...all 20 pictures. Guess it's just a matter of whether we trust you  or not. Seems like it would be better if you chose someone out of the audience to do that. But then ..could we trust THEM??? LOL.

I think eri covered every thing! She did a really good job. I guess it must have been "fate" or a giant happy coincidence that she was on YA and saw your question and answered it. You could have put it in a different section and she might not have seen it. Since this is your first post on YA...and you came to this particular section and she was online tonight...I'd say you pretty well proved that eri has psychic abilities!!!!!!  WHO KNEW????
