Any suggestions, tips, and words of wisdom before/when I go to Cabo, Mexico?

I'm going to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone else had been there (or heard of someone who has) that can tell me what resturants, locations, hikes, etc. to go visit. I KNOW NOT TO DRINK THE WATER but is there anything else I should be looking for? Mugglers, pick pocket, cheap scandals, or other things? Please share....

I've been to mexico alot of times.  One thing that they understand in Mexico is the value of a barter.  Bring some old sport wear like nike or addidasand you will get a good bargain for your dollar.  They really like sneakers,  they will bargain the shoes right off you!  A friend of mine even traded his soccer shorts for alot of goods.

Well thru experience I have learned to haggle when I want to purchase something from a street vendor. State the price you are willing to pay and if they say no,, walk away, they will follow you and eventually they will take a reasonable price from you. For instance, I wanted a cuban cigar (for my hubby), the price was $20.00, I told him I can get one for $10. he refused that price, so I walked away. He followed me haggling over price still,, I did eventually get the cigar for $10.00.

Do not eat meat from a street vendor if you do not see a refrigerator or clean running water,, eat in the restaraunts.Have fun amigo!

The best advice is to be average. Don't wear anything to flashy. Wear a cheap watch. Stay out of remote areas. Stay where there are plenty of people. If you're going without a woman make damed sure you have plenty of condoms.

Be careful with the taxis,If you are going by yourself, I suggest you find a taxi service to call before you leave the airport in Mexico.

Like  a radio taxi number (like they have in Honduras) then you should only work with those taxis. It cost more than the local taxis but at least you know that they are registered and will come to you wherever you are. Make sure you already know their name and they know your name before they get there, that way there is no confusion.  

Try to reduce the price on everything they are selling, and they will still rip you off a little, but it will feel like your getting a deal, don't do that with public transportation, like I said use the radio taxis.

If your interested in finding girls like most men are, don't go to a stripper or prosti. Go near the University, where they go clubbing, then you'll find better girls, but I suggest you use a condom, none the less.

Its best if you go with a group.
