Any suggestions for Dr.'s appointment?

I have not had my period since April 12 (which it was the 1st day of the period). I've taken HPTs and they're all negative. I've had my period since I was 11 years old ( I'm now 25) and NEVER been this late. The longest I was late was for 5 days. I've been to clinics and they've told me to wait. I decided to schedule a regular appointment with a well recomended OBGYN and I'm going this Thursday on the 12th. Which it will be exactly 2 months since my last period. Should I demand a blood test? Will they perform an ultrasound? What should I expect and or request of them? I know the basics of a regular appointment, I just feel like no one has taken this as seriously as I have and I would really appreciate if I could find a doctor that would show me some understanding about my worries.....

Any suggestions?

  1. Def ask for a blood test because, although rare, some women dont test positive on the urine test. Maybe even request a scan as that will give you an instant answer rather than waiting for the bloo test results. Good luck. Hope you get the outcome you're looking for. x
