Any suggestions for a family friendly resort (someplace warm for the wintertime)?

Question

I'm trying to find somewhere to go that's all inclusive but also entertaining for my daughter next Feb. But I don't want to have to remortgage the house either. I'm not looking for anything swanky...It's just that I have to find a place that includes meals because my husband flips out over the prices of food when we're on vacation (and he won't eat if he thinks it's too much). Ideas??? Thanks.

Hawaii is really nice during the winter. And theres a really nice ritz carlton on the island of Maui

Just my 2 cents...If you do consider Florida, don't go anywhere North of "Disneyland" in February and sometimes "Disneyland" is too cold for those who come down expecting it to be really warm year round down here.

Of the ideas you've received so far, I'd probably go with Bahamas. I live in Ocala, FL and in February, I would rather be at the Tampa line (not IN Tampa) or South of Tampa. There's a reason we have furnaces too.

I will say go to Florida or California and hop on those adventure boats for a couple weeks that like, goes to different states and stuff! Get what I mean? They have a bunch of stuff in there that you can do!

I agree with the Beaches suggestion. You didn't say how old your daughter is but some Beaches resorts have Sesame Street characters at them.  I hear they are all very family friendly.

Bavaro Princess All Suits Resort Punta Cana. Its all-inclusive and your whole family will enjoy their shows. Jan and Feb is the cheapest time to go. Check it out at www.applevacations.com

all the hotels in the big dominican republic are all inclusive. they range from pricey to relativly inexensive...  look up

"punta cana" resorts ..im sure you'll find something great. I stayed at the Majestic colonial and it was fantastic.
