When choosing a name, there are plenty of cutesy names that identify your clientèle.  Is that all you offer, a cutesy place for parents/guardians to drop off their child?  If your business is going to be an early learning center that provides activities that will promote growth of the whole child, physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and creatively, your name should emphasize that point.  Parents today want to give their children a head start in life.  Many are looking for a center whose philosophy mirrors their philosophy.  The best centers concentrate on developing the whole child by using planned activities focused around play.  Quality centers understand the way children grow and develop and know how to develop a program that uses developmentally appropriate practices.

    One final thought.  You are running a business.  (YOUR LAST NAME) Academy ex. PARKER ACADEMY evokes visions of quality.  What does RAYS OF SUNSHINE evoke?  Also, add a tag line that gives a glimpse of what you offer.  Ex.  PARKER ACADEMY Where your child is our future.  Okay that was corny but you get the picture! This tag shows that you understand that education of our young impacts our future and your center promotes this philosophy...

    Use your name and alliteration -makes it catchy and include the word "preschool" so people know what you're offering.
