Any suggestions for a project on torts?

i have to make a project on torts....can choose my own topic. i'm very confused, the teachers are not helping. please, can someone give some suggestion on what i can make the project on. i'm new to the subject...dont know anything much. can someone suggest some famous tort case or something on which i can do a case study?

One famous tort case, over a century old, involved an old man who kissed a young girl on the cheek while she was sitting on the park bench next to him.  This established the precedent for defining battery as any physical contact between humans without the consent of the one receiving the contact.  Children in school and teachers are not allowed to touch each other based on this tort case.  (Battery is the criminal act.  The associated tort is the (intended or unintended) infliction of emotional distress.)
