Any suggestions for a quick raffle draw/game?

I'm hosting a charity tournament in a few weeks and one of the activities at the tournament is a raffle. With this particular raffle participants by 15 tickets for 5 dollars. Then, near the end of the evening- we draw a bunch of tickets. Generally we have 30 prizes to draw for- so, to draw for all of these prizes takes quite a long time. I need suggestions for how I can quickly do the draw, and everyone know what tickets won.

I've had suggestions of doing a board- but I worry that we'll create a traffic jam at the board...

also suggested that i just draw the tickets & give them what ever prize I choose- but that would involve writing down who bought what ticket... I think that would take more time!

PLEASE HELP I NEED THIS RAFFLE TO GO SMOOTHLY!!

  1. Our elementary school did something like this.

The items were on the risers used for choir etc, so everything could be seen.

They would call out the first 5 numbers or so, and those could pick items out of "the first row".

Then the next 5 could pick items out of the "second row"

The items were on the risers used for choir etc, so everything could be seen.

Those that get their numbers called last got to choose from the better prizes.

If there are "no-shows" then their prizes can be grouped with the next group.  At the very end - keep drawing one at a time until all the prizes are taken.
