Any suggestions for light or ultralight laptop?

Question

I am looking for new laptop because my old died few days ago. I would prefer long battery life, good build quality and laptop should be also light and screen size not bigger then 14' because I travel a lot. I don't play any games but I use sometime some graphic software such as Photoshop. I don't want spend more then 1200$ but I am willing to spent up to 1500$ if that will be worth investment. Thank for suggestions.

ok well this is out of ur price range but a macbook air its $1800 13" screen. im on 1 now im in love with mine!!!!!! its the "worlds thinnest notebook"!! its only 3 pounds (feels lighter) and of course its a macbook so its high quality

now there r some bad things it only has 80gb it has no optical drive (cd/dvd drive) but u can buy a superdrive which u plug into the usb port
