Any suggestions for really nice restaurants in the broward county , FL area( Pembroke Pines) for mothers day?

Rather than suggest a single restaurant, may I suggest that there is a cluster of good individually owned restaurants - none of the those mediocre Red Lobster/Outback/Applebys type places - in downtown Hollywood near Young Circle. There are about 10 or 12 good restaurants: Italian, chinese, thai, continental, etc all within 3 or 4 blocks of eachother.

If you are in Pembroke Pines, just take Pines Blvd. East  - after going past the Florida Turnpike it changes names and becomes Hollywood Blvd. continue eastward for a few miles ... just 15 or 20 minutes and soon you will be in downtown Hollywood. After dinner take a stroll and check out the shops, bars, and jazz clubs. No this is not South Beach, but it's not dead and boring either!
