Any suggestions for travel to Lazio Sept/Oct?

I am going to Rome/Latina area in September..what is the best time of the month to go and does anyone know of a nice hotel? I thought about staying in Sabaudia, or even the city of Latina...which is close to my friend. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

the best time of the month is july or the first 2 weeks of august.

A nice town close to Sabaudia (but more expensive) is Sperlonga

In Latina you will be very close to the Gardens of Ninfa (Giardini di Ninfa), a very beautiful place. Guided tours on weekends. Check it out.
