Any suggestions for unusual planters?

I recently saw this commercial on TV whereas very unsual objects were being utilized as planters (ie: a globe that had been cut in half). Does anyone have any other suggestions for unusal and/or creative planters?

you could use old construction boots , fill them with soil and plant in them, an old pee pot , I even saw someone' s old toilet sitting on the front lawn with a plant in it , a bath tub filled with all kinds of flowers, a bath tub standing up right  is a grotto with a statue in it and flowers all around it, old sinks, kitchen wear , kids  carts, pails, old tree trunks allow out and filled with flowers. Empty barrels, cauldrons,

I used an old propane grill. I opened the lid, Filled it with potting soil and planted flowers in it. I used the top rack for smaller pots. I put pots on the side shelves. I kept gardening supplies in the doors on the bottom.
