  1. There are many ways you could go about decorating your album cover.  Any of the following suggestions would be something to consider, either alone or in combination.

!. Give your album cover a catchy title. Maybe something like Ten Wonderful Years, or whatever. You can buy beautiful alphabet stickers to spell the words, or print from your computer onto nice paper, or get metallic alphabets at your craft store, etc.

    2. Locate embellishments, ribbons, stickers, etc. that represent the number of years you have been married. Paper for one year, silver for 25 years, etc.

    3. Attach a photograph of you and your spouse to the cover. You can matt it, frame it, or decorate it any of the usual ways. If you have a printer, you might print this photo on vellum or on some other unusual paper to get a very special look.

    4. Use ribbon, possibly ribbon flowers to enhance the cover.

The first link below lists the traditional anniversary gifts by year (i.e. paper, leather, crystal, etc . It may present some ideas for how to decorate the album.

The second link takes you to a blog post that shows an interesting way to crop a photograph. This method might work well for a photo on your cover.

  2. For my husband's military career memories, I covered a scrapbook album with an old flight suit.  Maybe you could ask one of your bridesmaids for her dress (unfortunately most bridesmaids dresses end up unworn except for that one special day...perhaps this will give it a new life).

Make a collage on the front of your pictures, or spell out special sayings using sterling silver letter beads.
