Any suggestions on how to get from Barcelona airport to Avenida Paralelo in the downtown area?

One possibility is that you take the airport bus (called AEROBUS) at the airport (you will see clearly where the stop is once you get out of the airport because sadly, our airport is so small). It runs from 6.00 am to 1.00 am and the ticket costs 3,90 eur and you buy it through the driver when you get in. Check http://www.transportsciutatcomtal.com/pa...

You get down at the last stop, that is Plaza Catalunya.

There look for a red M sign, that the underground (right next to the airport bus station, in front of El Corte Inglés).

Once inside the station take the GREEN line (Line 3) heading to "Zona Universitaria". You get down either at  "Paral.lel" or "Poble Sec". If you tell me the street number I can tell you which one suits you most because both of them are at Paral.lel street. Check this:
