Any suggestions on how to shut Dallas fans up?

They are, by far, the most obnoxious fans in all of sports, including the Yankees. The worst trashtalkers are the ones that don't even watch football, which are about 80% of Dallas fans. Usually I just tell them to name 5 players on the Cowboys roster and that suts them up. Any other ideas?

Remind them that the Niners got to five rings before they did, and that the Niners are 5 and 0 in the Super Bowl.  (Yes, I know the Niners have been out of it for ten years.)

Wow.. you are not very thick skinned. How about learning to grow up like a big boy and deal with it.

Try dealing with Eagle fans..many of them actualy want to fight you if you root for the oppessing team.

You just have to learn to live with it. They are very good and this year seem to be "loaded." Get used to it.

Oh yeah, I'm a Cowboys fan for 30 years, live near Philly the entire time and you think I'm obnoxious?  Eagles fans are the all time biggest loudmouths there are.  They win a game; they're the best thing since sliced bread.  They lose a game; their team and McNabb sucks.

I will follow my team, through wins and losses, no matter what.  Say what you want.  And I can name more than 5 players from the 1978 roster...as well as the rosters for each year up to present day.

Just think how hard it will be to 'shut us up' when we can say GOT SIX????

In truth I see more questions and answers here that are insulting and obnoxious towards Cowboys fans.  

Just today I have read that Cowboy's fans are "retards", "obnoxious", "idiots", etc.  

Conversely I have seen very few comments from those claiming to be Cowboys fans that were not polite and respectful.  Obviously, when you are as popular as the Cowboys are you will have your fill of idiotic and obnoxious fans.  But if you look at it with an unbiased mind you will see that most Cowboys fans do not deserve to be painted with that brush.  

If you ever go to a game at Texas Stadium you would be safe to wear an Eagles jersey (you might be teased a little, but you would be safe).  Try wearing a Cowboy's jersey in Philly and see what happens to you.

Naming players on a roster doesn't really mean c**p.  I may know most of the starters of the Houston Texans and some of the backups, including my offensive lineman, but there are many people that just love football and they evolve football around their lives and can name you at least five people from every team in the NFL.  So if you happen on one of those people watch out, they may bury you.  With Dallas, it's going to be hard to shut themk up regardless.  They have five Super Bowl rings to their name already, and this year, they very well could be working on that sixth one and be the winningest SB team ever until someone breaks that record.  You can egg on about their QB being a choke artist run by Jessica Simpson, or T.O., Pacman, and Tank Johnson being criminals, or call them the cowgirls, or Brokeback Mountain or whatever.  You aren't going to be able to shut a true fan up, you will be able to shut up your bandwagon fans by bringing out stats, and if you are a fan (not bandwagon) of a real good team, spat some stats out something, but you are warned.  Dallas is one of the best teams in the NFL overall and as of today, they are the best, unless they lose all their players all of a sudden.  Good luck and good luck trying to succeed at something no one else has done.
