Any suggestions on hybrids?

Question

Im looking for a hybrid since i've heard they're easier to hit and you get more yardage. I like the bobby jones for thier uniqness in shape but 200 dollars is sort of high any suggestions?

you could try e bay or post wanted bobby jones hi bird  lot of hit and miss though  most places have driving ranges  i have a few oddly enough the best lomg one is a quick strike 18 degree the head snake eyes  the shaft rifle hibird  allowed me to remove 3 5 woods . also have nickent good hogan very good older taylor made the best  and bridgestone very good  cobra  very good . different models for different people  all you can do is try . allow for hook

I'll second the Cobra Bafflers.  I have a 16, 20, & 23 degree.  eBay is the best place to go.  3ballsgolf is good.  I broke one of their clubs the first time out and they replaced it right away.  I also have a 16 degree Taylormade Rescue 2 which is good also but I hit the Cobras better.  The Cobras are also a Golf Magaize best pick.

Check out the golf magazines for comparisons.  There are two types of hybrids - ones more like woods (longer shafts and larger heads), and ones more like irons (shorter shafts and smaller heads).  I think the Pings are in the iron category, and the Jones in the woods category.

I pulled my 3, 4, and 5 irons and replaced they with Ben Hogan hybrids.  They are easier to hit straight, and I get a little more distance.

You can get used hybrids at most golf stores (Golf Galaxy, etc.) or online at ebay, or callaway's pre-owned site.
