  1. Look at it this way, if there was a leak in the apartment below you, the landlord would need to get in ASAP.  You should request that a note be left for you, if they needed to be in your apt. for any reason.


  2. Read the terms of your lease.  It likely permits the landlord to access the unit during normal business hours.  Ocassionally this is needed to comfirm the property condition, do repairs or maintenance.  

        I would talk to them - politely - about this.

    Consider a 'nanny cam', and keep your valuable locked up!

  3. It will depend upon the terms of your lease and/or state laws, but in many leases, the owner has the right to enter without your permission, as they own the property. However, in my experience, a reputable manager will notify you in advance if they need to enter your apartment.
